Had to $25 to return it even though they sent me a defective phone. I also had to purchase a new plan for both phones even though I had already paid for a plan on my existing phone that stopped working. I only get internet on wifi and rarely have service for calls or texts. Every time I contact customer service I get transferred to at least 3 or more people and get discounted multiple times when a rep says they're transferring me.
Do not recommend Straight Talk Wireless even to my worst enemy. I have TMobile and trying to transfer a number from straight talk. 4 phone calls to STalk and the last call TMobile and my daughter were all connected 1.5 hours later and still no resolution of number being transferred.
Instead, its unlimited plans include a set amount of high-speed data before deprioritization kicks in. At that point, speeds will be throttled to as low as 2G speeds. I don't understand how so many people can complain about a service that is no contract and unlimited and cheaper that most other services! With that said, the only issue I wish would be resolved, is I have a 5g phone, yet can never watch videos above 480p! A 5g phone should be able to play 1080 and above resolution! Other than that, the customer service could be a little better..
Thes people at the call center are a bunch of benchodes. I was on the phone four times and never did get any results! If the would keep their company stuff somewhere besides the Philippines u might get some service u need help with! Didn't buy my stuff in the Philippines so shouldn't have to deal with people in the Philippines that u can't understand, they lie to u then hang up on u acting like they can't hear u.
