At the end of the pier/walkway, one of the first things you’ll see is the Trading Post. There’s a desk where you can book tours, rides and experiences if you have not already done so. There is no shade on this beach other than what is provided from the cabanas. For a luxury experience, you can't get any better than one of the overwater cabanas located either on Barefoot Beach (ideal because of the quieter, exclusive environs) or Nellie's Beach.
The food is the same in all three restaurants and is prepared onboard a cruise ship. There are a few things you will want to bring to Labadee that you not otherwise consider. You will want these because the paved walkways and even that white sand can get hot, plus in the water there are plenty of rocks that could be stepped on. Second, bring a camera (a waterproof camera would be ideal) because there is a lot to see and do on Labadee and you will want to remember it all. With decent underwater cameras costing less than $100, it is worth it to have one so that you can take photos in and out of the water. Plus, you will likely be able to use it on other port stops during your cruise.

The tram is nice to hop on if it is convenient, but by no means necessary. Plus, Labadee has a lot of natural beauty to behold and walking around will give you a good sense of the layout of the beaches as well as an appreciation for the natural wonders. If you're seeking a lower-cost alternative to the pricier cabanas on the other beaches, check out the beach bed-style cabanas on Adrenaline Beach, located on the northern side of Labadee. These are cushioned four-poster beds with drapes that billow in the breeze (and provide a bit of shade from the sun overhead). This snorkeling tour will take you to the open sea and stop at two beautiful snorkeling locations where you get to explore the fascinating Haitian underwater sea life. I haven’t done it, but I had dozens of guests coming to provide me with great feedback on a tour. If you decide to spend a beach day, you can upgrade to one of the beach beds and cabanas for an ultimate stay in Labadee (Haiti). The aqua park is located at Columbus Cove and is an activity designed for kids.
Up until today, scheduled visits to Labadee have been routinely cancelled and replaced with visits to other ports.
